Changes are taking place

We have a new addition to our family. Alex's nephew, Devon, has come to live with us for the next little while...maybe longer. Devon is 8 years old and just started 3rd grade. It was kind-of an "all-of-a-sudden" type thing having him come stay with us, so it is taking some adjusting and changing around of things in our house. He moved in last Thursday night and we got him enrolled and into school Friday morning. We were a little worried how David would react to having Devon live here, but he seems to be super excited to have Devon stay with us, especially since they get to share a room.

Last week before we knew Devon was coming to live with us, I took the top bunk off David's bed to put in Kaitlyn's room so we could get her out of the crib and Nathaniel into it. (However, I found out there is a recall on our crib, so that one is now in pieces and we need to go pick out a new one with the voucher I just received. So, once we get the new crib it will be set up in Kaitlyn's room as well...) So, Kaitlyn is now in a big bed and loving it! She does really well staying in it for the most part too. She does, however, like to wake up right around 6am now and not really go back to sleep... :(
David's room went from bunk beds, to the single full size bed for a couple days, and now to two twin beds for the both the boys. We still need to find some dressers for them, but things are coming together!
