The past week or so...

We had a busy week this last week or so with something going on just about every day. It was busy, but fun-filled.

FRIDAY night David was able to have his friend Zander over for movie night and a sleepover. Everyone ate way too much junk and stayed up W A Y too late! I think it was 11pm before everyone settled down and were asleep. Crazy kids :)

SATURDAY David had his end of season Soccer pizza party where they got their medals and were able to hang out as a team one last time. He had a great team this season with all his friends on it and a great coach. Hopefully it will be just as good a season next year.
The kids had been asking forever when they could see Great Grandma and Grandpa again, so my grandparents came down to our house for dinner. It was great being able to visit with them and to let the kids entertain them :)

SUNDAY we got a break from everything and just relaxed...

MONDAY night we went to the Circus down in Orem. The kids LOVED it, although David was a bit disappointed when we got there and it wasn't in a big red and white tent :) I think their favorite part was the clown and his car that shot out fire and water. They all talked about that for days after. Unfortunately we don't have any photos of it as they didn't allow any. At least we have our memories, right?

TUESDAY we went to the little Pumpkin Patch in our neighborhood that we go to every year to pick out some pumpkins. The kids had to walk around and each find the "perfect" pumpkin.

WEDNESDAY I had my Bunco game night with the ladies. We started a group last month where we get together without the kids or hubbys once a month to play Bunco and socialize for a couple hours. It has been a blast so far!

THURSDAY we went to go see Alex's sister, Jillian, at the hospital with her new little baby. I can't believe how fast time flies and how big Isabella is at 3 months compared to the newborn. They change WAY too quickly for my liking.

FRIDAY was the Carnival at David's school. First thing the kids wanted to do was go on the bounce house. Then we did all sorts of other activities and crafts, and bought all sorts of goodies from the bake sale with our tickets so we could get home before it got too cold out since we didn't think to bring jackets!

SATURDAY we hung out all morning and let the kids make a mess of the house. I peeked in on them and found them playing "Vacation" again with all their snacks, books, and toys everywhere.
Later that day I ran some errands and picked up our friend, Hyrum's kids to bring back to our place so they could all play. Our kids were thrilled when I showed up with friends to play with :) We ate pizza, watched movies, and played till everyone was falling asleep...

SUNDAY night we had our friends, Mark and Brittney over for dinner and to watch a fun movie.

MONDAY night our friends, Ty and Karri came over for tri-tip and twice baked potatoes. YUM!

And finally, it is red ribbon week at school so they do crazy, fun things to "celebrate". Today was crazy hair day...
