I finally re-did the kids chore charts and have been trying to keep up with them. The kids all got to decorate a jar to keep their "chore money" in. They earn a penny for every star they get on their chart, so each Sunday we sit down and count out the stars, then count out the pennies to put in their jar. It's been great to have them so excited to help out and earn extra stars for going above and beyond their jobs. They also get to practice counting skills each week, which is another plus.
I recently got a little, light-weight vacuum for the tile and wood floors. It is awesome! Not only does it work great, but the kids think it's a blast to help vacuum, so they constantly ask if they can use it. Save me yet another vacuum job? Yes please...vacuum all you want! :)
