School time once again!

David started school again on the 21st of August, so he's got 2 weeks down already!  He is in Mrs. Stamper's 2nd grade class with 2 of his best friends, Mason and Zander.  He was pretty excited to have his friends in his class, but not to have his classroom be in one of the portable buildings out behind the school.  (They underestimated how many kids would be going to the school and had to add 3 portable buildings just a year after the school was built!)

  

 Kaitlyn starts preschool with Miss Katie today and is sooooo excited!  She has been asking for weeks when she gets to go.  Because her birthday is in October, she missed the cut-off for kindergarten this year with all her friends.  She was pretty bummed about not being able to go to school with everyone, but should have a fun year in preschool where she goes Monday and Wednesday afternoons for 2 hours. 

 

Nathaniel is doing a joy school with 4 of his little friends (Ryann, Curran, Tyler & Claire) Thursday mornings for an hour and a half. So the moms take turns teaching the group of kids once every 5 weeks. Tomorrow is his first day with that group and he is super excited to be doing something just for him. 

 

I also do a little joy school with these 2 buddies Tuesday and Friday mornings for an hour.  We have a group of another 6 kids (Kaitlyn, Nathaniel, David, Kate, Christopher & Matty) that rotate homes in the neighborhood as well.

So, looks like we are going to be busy this school year with David in school every day and then between Kaitlyn and Nathaniel, one or both of them is doing preschool every day of the week at some time as well!
