Well, we've made it through
3 weeks so far with the new little one. After a hard beginning, Nathaniel has adjusted well to life at home and is a really good baby. He is still as tiny as can be - weighing in at only
5lbs. 13oz. and being
18 inches in length (at least that's what he was a few days ago when we went to the
dr.), which puts him in the 2
nd percentile for his weight and only 3rd percentile for his height! We are hoping he decides to grow here sometime... He is staying awake and alert more now though and wanting to look around at everything going on.

David still loves his little brother and says all the time how glad he is that both me and the baby are home now. David makes me smile with all his little sayings. A few days after we brought Nathaniel home, David came to me and said, "Mom, can we still keep Kaitlyn? AND the baby too?" :)
Kaitlyn loves the baby and constantly wants to kiss him, hold him, and love on him. Although she is very affectionate towards Nathaniel, she has shown us that she does NOT like the fact that she is no longer the baby as evident from her throwing fit after screaming fit when something does not go her way or when it is time for bed. We've managed to get it somewhat under control over the last week, but still have work to do.

We now are trying to get everyone over being sick while trying to keep the baby FROM getting sick. David had a nice cold, which he then so generously gave to me, and now Kaitlyn has some virus that has resulted in high 102 to 103 degree fevers the past few days. So, needless to say, we are keeping busy trying to get healthy,
get some sleep, and stay sane.
