The backyard

I have been meaning forever to post photos of our completed backyard. It only took our landscaper ALL summer long to get it done and then only completed it when he misunderstood and thought he was gonna get more money than what we had agreed upon. (But that's a whole other story....) But, it is done and we are soooo happy with it. Since it's been done, I don't think that a day goes by that the kids or us aren't out there enjoying the serenity.

Early one morning, the cement truck pulled up the driveway and into our backyard. Kaitlyn was thrilled to death! "Look Mom! Big truck...big truck!!"

The grass was delivered...finally...and laid within a couple days...

And then it was complete!!!! :) It is a LOT of grass, but nice to have all the space to run around and do whatever with.

Alex and his friend have recently been working on building an outdoor kitchen (which I'll have to post photos of later...) So, once everything is completed, we will have a nice little entertaining haven out back!
