For my birthday this last Saturday, Alex surprised me and took me on a weekend getaway. His parents and sister were nice enough to watch ALL the kids for us so we could get away. We got up early Friday morning and drove to the airport where he showed me tickets to San Diego! Once we got there, he then told me we were getting on a weekend cruise to Ensenada, Mexico. How fun! It was soooo nice to get away and just relax, sleep (which we did a lot of), and spend some quality time with my hubby. He knew exactly what I wanted for my birthday - some time away. It was a great mini-vacation!
