June fun

Right after school ended, we had 2 weeks of swim lessons at the Lehi recreation center for Katie and David. Nathaniel and I would sit and watch while they played and learned some water techniques. They had a blast going to the pool and it was nice to have something to look forward to each day. I think they learned some good stuff, but we still have far to go to get these kids really swimming.
David finished out his season of baseball and did really well. He still loves to go out back and practice throwing and hitting. He had a blast and can't wait to start soccer in the Fall.
Every year, our city has a celebration they call Pony Express Days. This year we didn't participate in much of any of the festivities besides going to the parade, which the kids love every time. Nathaniel was content to just sit in the stroller most of the time, but they all got to see lots of fun things and collect WAY too much candy! It was a nice Saturday morning activity.
It was finally starting to get hot outside and since I was waiting around to "pop" any day with our new little baby, we decided to get a plastic pool from Walmart so the kids could enjoy swimming in the comfort of our own backyard (where I didn't have to go anywhere!) They were so excited when we finally got it set up and filled with water that they couldn't even wait to change clothes before getting in!
