Our next fun adventure was going to California Adventure! We spent all day at the park, so by about 7:30pm everyone was worn out and ready to go back to the hotel. It was a fun day filled with rides, meeting characters, more rides, treats, and rides again!
We couldn't go without seeing Minnie Mouse!
Nathaniel is still afraid to get anywhere close to the characters, so David and Kaitlyn took all the photos with each one :)
Isabella wasn't too sure of the characters up close either...
Kaitlyn was able to walk with Jessie holding hands and loved it!
Isabella had lots of Papa and Nana time as she wasn't big enough to go on most of the rides and they were nice enough to hang out with her while the rest of us went!
Don't you love the mohawk hair? Alex thinks she looks so cute with it done this way!
Mickey's Wheel was Nathaniel's favorite ride. He thought it was so much fun and the whole family was able to go on it!
We also all got to go on A Bug's Life caterpillar train.
We went to Cars Land and it was as awesome as everyone said...but also
as packed and crazy too! It seriously looked just like the town of
Radiator Springs from the movie.
Kaitlyn snuck in front of a long line of people to take a photo with Big Red, so I hurried and snapped a shot before pulling her out of everyone's way!
Nathaniel wasn't able to go on one of the best rides (in my opinion) there, so he go to pick out a milkshake from Flo's cafe. Then they had these awesome cups for drinks that Alex bought for the kids. So cute!
It was a fun-filled, long, hot day. But so worth the time we got to spend together enjoying everything!
