Pumpkins and blue skys

We went to a little pumpkin patch in our neighborhood for preschool today and David got to pick out a pumpkin to take home and carve (which he was super excited to do with Daddy tonight).
Kaitlyn enjoyed being out in the pumpkins as well, trying to be a big kid and pick one up and hold it.

David loved the thought of carving the pumpkin into a nice smiley face, but wasn't too sure about putting his hand in the pumpkin though to pull out all the guts. He did it a couple times then gave up and told Daddy to do it.

Then this afternoon, David came outside with me while I was planting some flowers and decided it felt nice to lie on the grass and look up at the blue sky.

He also decided he wanted to take some pictures, so this is what we ended up with....Lots of pictures of the grass....
And a couple crooked photos of the sky...

It was a good day! :)
