More Texas...

So, I am finally getting around to posting about our trip down to Texas. We drove straight there...a 20 hour trip, but it took us around 23 because of all the stops we had to make. (Are we crazy? YES!) We left at 11pm so the kids could sleep all night in the car and we could get a good chunk of the driving out of the way before they woke up. By the last 5 or 6 hours, the kids had had it. Nathaniel basically screamed the entire last 5 hours. Kaitlyn was no help either as she kept throwing fits for no reason whatsoever. So, needless to say, we were more than ready to be there. On the way home, we decided to play it a little bit safer and break it up into 2 days. Still not a whole lot of fun with 3 little ones in the car, but they handled it much better than driving straight through.

Once there, we got to visit with family and swap babies around...

And of course (the whole reason we drove down there) Alex and some friends got to go to the BYU football game at the new Cowboys Stadium. Of course, we WON!! So, the drive was all worth it, right?
