Last Saturday Santa came by on the fire truck (like he does every year) and threw candy to the kids. They were super excited to see him again and ran outside as soon as they heard the sirens.

After we saw Santa (and shoveled the snow off the driveway so we could get out), we headed down to the church for our ward party, which was a Polar Express themed breakfast. (A little out of the ordinary to have the ward party be at 8:30am, but it turned out well.) The kids got to eat, drink hot cocoa, listen to some fun musical numbers, and hear the Polar Express story. Afterward, they each got a little silver bell of their own.
That afternoon, it was so nice outside that we all went out to play in the snow. The snow was perfect for snowman building, so the kids had a blast making him just right.
Later that night, it started snowing again, so we decided to go out back and play in the piles of snow there. We rolled giant snow balls and had fun stomping around in the snow...
