We went up to Heber City today for a Day Out With Thomas the Train. David has been talking about going to see Thomas for weeks now and the day finally came! He put on his Thomas shoes and shirt and had to show everyone and tell them we were going to see Thomas. Alex's dad, sister, Aunt and Uncle and cousin came with us as well, so it was fun to enjoy the time with everyone. David was super excited to ride on Thomas (it was a really cool, old train), see Sir Top'm Hat (although he freaked out as soon as he got close to him - I don't blame him though...that guy was kinda freaky when you got close to him!), get tattoos of the trains, and pet the animals. It turned out to be a cold, rainy day, but David still had a blast. He was talking about it all the way home and even tonight before bed. I'm glad he enjoyed it at least.
