Oh the joys of childhood

Last night while I was in the kitchen, the kids were in the living room playing and making lots of noise (as usual). Then came the normal cries from someone getting hurt. Only this time, it was more of an intense really painful cry coming from Nathaniel. He was grabbing at his arm and wouldn't move it. I hoped he had just sprained his wrist or something but after about 20 minutes of him continuously crying and not moving it, we headed down to Urgent Care to get it checked out. After a painful exam and a couple x-rays, the dr. said it was not broken and thought his arm could actually be dislocated. He pushed and pulled on Nathaniel's elbow (the whole time with Nathaniel screaming) and said he felt it pop back into place. After that, Nathaniel was happy to reach out and take a sucker from the dr! Guess we were lucky it was a quick fix...this time...
