Ok, I've finally gotten some of the photos together from our Europe cruise. Here are a few from Barcelona. We stayed at a little hotel called Hotel Neptuno which was basically on what looked like an alley-way about 30 minutes outside Barcelona. We drove into the city and took a tour bus around for a couple days to see the sites. There was so much amazing architecture there. We saw really cool buildings, statues, and all sorts of artwork.
When were were walking along this street called, La Rambla, there were all sorts of people dressed up in various outfits to try to collect money from all the people walking by. We took a picture with one guy who we thought was the best of the bunch. When I was talking my picture with him, he yelled out, "Mida! Mida," saying "Look!" because some girl was trying to pick-pocket Alex's Uncle right then. Luckily we caught her just in time. Needless to say, we were super conscious of our wallets and purses after that little episode.
We went to countless amazing cathedrals while we were in Europe. Well, when we got out of touring one here in Barcelona, there was this naked guy just chilling on the steps of the church, smoking and drinking a beer. It was the funniest thing. He walked around, up to some girls and asked them for a lite, then went back and sat down like it was nothing. We stood there watching him for a while waiting to see if the Police were gonna come take him away or something, but nothing ever happened to the guy. Crazyness!
