I know I'm a little late, but here's the update from our 4th of July celebrations....
We went to see Iron Man (which is really a good movie) with Alex's parents and the grandkids in the afternoon, then to Alex's Aunt Holly and Uncle Glen's house for a BBQ with tons of family. We headed off from there to see the Salt Lake Bees Baseball game with fireworks afterward.
It turned out to be a fun day. Even Kaitlyn enjoyed the fireworks.
She just laid in my lap watching the bright lights!

The next day, we got up early and headed out to Payson Lake with Alex's brother Blair and his family to hang out with G&G Larsen, the Walters, and other family. It was the perfect day because we had sunshine, then clouds, then more sunshine, so we never got too hot. The water was still freezing, so we didn't really do any swimming, but enjoyed being out on the paddle boat and visiting with family at our little campsite. We brought our t-pee tent, which turned out to be a great little spot for Kaitlyn to hang out and take her naps. Overall, it was a great 4th. We obviously weren't used to all that sun because everyone fell asleep on the way home...we were pooped!
